Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag frozen hash browns 21 oz
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers optional
  • 1/2 onion diced (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese opt: plus 1/2 cup for topping
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl, mix well.
  • Spread in a 9x13 baking pan.
  • Bake at 375 for 40-60 minutes. Start checking at 40 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded cheese during last 5 minutes. (optional)
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
