Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk sausage
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 cups milk

Instructions

  • Brown sausage, drain and discard grease.
  • Add flour, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Add milk, one cup at a time, stirring well between additions.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Serve over biscuits or toast.
