Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 4 Granny Smith apples or other tart apple
  • 12 oz Mountain Dew
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Peel and core apples. Cut into quarters.
  • Wrap each apple slice in a crescent roll. Place in a 9x13 baking pan, seam side down.
  • Melt butter, add sugar, Mt. Dew, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pour sauce over apple dumplings.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 40 minutes or until the dumpings are golden brown.
  • Serve warm, with ice ream if desired. Store leftovers in fridgerator up to 3 days. To reheat, bake at 400 till warm.
