Easy Homemade Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups buttermilk or regular milk with 1 TBL vinegar added
  • 6 TBL oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix milk, eggs, and oil in a bowl.
  • Add dry ingredients and stir briefly.
  • Spread in a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
