Their breath was floating away on the frosty breeze...

We were able to buy a few more bred heifers this month. My Cowboy went and picked them up from CO one day, then asked me to help process them. We needed to put our brand on them, and change eartags, of course. branding heifersComing into the chute...

One advantage of working on an established place, (vs. starting your own place) is the access to good equipment, like a nice hydraulic squeeze chute! 🙂

What a great blog, Kay! It’s a loving work of art, a spirited, good-vibes place to be – your sunny style, amazing photos, all make a reader feel at home having coffee with you – a rare combination in today’s blogging world. I arrived here amidst a search for ranch hand terms, by the way, and I’m so pleased to have found this place : )
